Public customer required a site-to-site connectivity between two (2) of their locations and due to customers requirements an Open Source (IPSec) solution was chosen.
Site-to-site connection was implemented using two (2) spare computers, which was more than enough to implement Open Source solution and handle site-to-site traffic, as the intention wdith the connection were to ensure access to Intranet, network shares, etc.
VPN was implemented, and routing and functionality in customer network was ensured and documented.
Customer was furthermore instructed on how to restore VPN connectivity in case of issues.
